The first third of 2009 has seen a large decrease in home sales, and average prices of homes sold in Smithfield Utah. Smithfield Utah Home sales peaked in 2006 when 140 residential homes sold.
So far this year, only 22 homes have sold in Smithfield Utah. The median sales prices of these homes ($150,000) is far less than the median price of homes sold last year, ($174,950) and the median price is more than $65,000 less than the median list price ($215,000) of Smithfield Utah Homes.
There are currently 76 Smithfield Utah Homes for Sale. This is a years worth of inventory at 2008's sales pace, and even more at the pace set during the first four months of 2009. Six of these listings include Smithfield Utah Condos.

Great insights on Smithfield Utah. Your post is very informative and paints a quick but effective snapshot of the market here. I wouldn't have thought there would be a decline in another market as my own market in the Phoenix area is improving while many other markets I watch are doing the same.
So, I find it fascinating to see what's going on in Smithfield.
